Poet Republik Ltd. is happy to announce the release of the poetry collection, Le Sang de L’Étoile / Star-Blood by Jean-Noel Chazelle in a bilingual translation from the French to English. Translation by Brooke Petersen.
Jean Noel Chazelle is a French Artist living in Montmartre, Paris. His works on multiple support (Painting, Sculpture, Performance, Installation) and various media (Photo, Movie, Sound). After 7 years of performances in Cledalique Gallery created by Salvador Dali and Miette in Cadaques in the north of Spain, following the encouragement of Teeny Duchamp he returned to painting and began to experiment with acrylic paint on plexiglass in 1997. He went to the state after his first exhibition at Sacha Tarassof who associated him with Support Surface. Jean Noel has an exhibit in Massachussetts at Noama located in front of MassMoca. He as integrated numerous collections: the one of the DeRosa family that belongs to Guggenheim, the collection of Bob and Mary Decelles in Miami , the collection of Bo Peabody in NY, the collection of Carole Levy in Los Angeles, the one of Joel Cohen, Claude Klotz in Paris. His was the last artwork collected by Joseph Nahmad. Star-Blood marks his first collection of poetry by Poet Republik Ltd. out of Berlin and California.

Jean-Noël Chazelle est un artiste français résidant à Montmartre, Paris. Il travail sur de multiples supports (Peinture, Sculpture, Performance, Installa-tion) et différents médias (Photo, Film, Son). Après 7 ans de performances à la Clédalique galerie créé par Salvador Dali et Miette à Cadaques au nord de l’Espagne, suivant les encouragements de Teeny Duchamp; il re-viens à la peinture et commence à expérimenter l’acrylique sur plexiglas en 1997. Il Part aux Etats-Unis après son exposition chez Sacha Tarassof qui l’associe au movement Support Surface. Jean-Noel a un musée dans le Massachusetts, le Noama qui ce situe en face de MassMoca. Il est entré dans de nombreuses collections dont celle de la famille DeRosa qui appar-tient au Guggenheim, la collection Bob et Mary Decelles à Miami, la collec-tion de Bo Peabody à New York, la collection de Carole Levy à Los Ange-les, celle de Joel Cohen, de Claude Klotz à Paris. Il fut le dernier Artiste à intégrer la collection de Joseph Nahmad. Son premier recueil de poésie se-ra édité en juin par Poet Republik à NY.
